Personal:

Struck by polio at the age of two, both my legs were paralyzed. Since then I have weathered many a storm in life. With dint of effort and enthusiasm, have come up to what I’m today in spite of having lost the faculty of movement at infancy.

I’m married to my wife Vasantha and have four children and four grand children.

·         Bachelor’s in Physics;

·         Masters in Public Administration;

·         Bachelor of Law, University of Madras

Training:

·        Took part in a BBC - sponsored Thompson Foundation training          programme on TV News Management

·        Underwent a four-month in-service training at the Indian Institute of Mass          Communication
